Must have for streamers
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolute smooth boom arm, holds my Rode podcaster pro perfectly. Def a good addition to my set up. I had the compass one originally and it was a piece of garbage. This one feels like quality, Works perfect for the stream on twitch!

Great mic boom arm
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I bought this over the summer for my AT2020USB+ microphone and it fit perfectly. I would only recommend getting a shock mount to mitigate vibrations and for the best audio quality, but other than that, you get what you pay for (in the best sense of the phrase.) You don't want to cheap out on a mic mount that'll break or deteriorate over time.

Great Boom Arm, Likes to Fight Back
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this boom arm and the little stand it comes with. Instead of having the arm up 24/7, I put the arm in storage when not in use, but I leave the little stand attached to my desk. Depending on your mic, you might need an extender to make it work better with your equipment. Personally, I needed an extender for mine since I use a Shure SM7B. Watch out for how spring-loaded this thing is. I've had it spring back up when removing my mic and almost took a boom arm to the noggin.

Worth the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Stable and robust boom arm. I have one at work that supports a Blue Yeti along with a Radius shock mount, and one at home with an Audio-Technica AT2020USB+ model sitting in a Samson SP01 Spider shock mount. Connecting the Rode to each of these shocks was simple. The Rode includes small details such as the velcro straps that keep cords tidy and close to the arm rather than dangling. There are cheaper arms but at least one I bought turned out to be a false economy - not strong enough to hold either mike and it ended up in the trash! Bite the bullet and hit the Rode.
