Robust Mixer That’s Ready for the Stage or the Studio

Looking for a mixer that makes your life easier when you’re gigging? The Mackie ProFX10v3 10-channel USB mixer can do that and much more. The ProFX10v3 provides you with great sound and features found in larger mixers while remaining portable. This mixer is equipped with four of Mackie’s Onyx preamps that provide top-notch sound for your keyboard, mics, and guitars. Once you’re ready to go, you can use the onboard GigFX to add that little something extra to your mix. No matter if you’re onstage or in your studio, the Mackie ProFX10v3 will always give you amazing audio quality.

Everything you need in one device

At Sweetwater, we want to make sure that your gig sounds the way you want it to. That’s why we’re excited to tell you more about what the Mackie ProFX10v3 can really do. Each channel starts with Mackie’s Onyx preamp. Then you can use the 100Hz low cut control to keep your sound clean. Next, you can dial up to 60dB of gain before sending it through onboard compression and 3-band EQ. Every channel is equipped with FX level controls and a mute button. What’s more, every mic input is equipped with 48-volt phantom power.

Improved digital effects

To make sure that you sound perfect, the Mackie ProFX10v3 has an onboard effects processor. The effects processor has a blend function, FX level control, and a quick mute switch. The GigFX effects engine offers up 24 different effects ranging from delays, reverbs, choruses, distortion, and even an auto-wah feature. All of these effects are accessed by a simple twist of the Presets knob.

Exceptional build quality

Mackie mixers have been a mainstay for studio and live sound for many reasons. Chief among the reasons is durability and build quality. You’ll find these mixers in venues across the country covered in years of dust and grime. But when you power them up, they deliver top-notch sound and reliability. If you’ve never owned a Mackie before, you’ll be surprised by its sturdy construction. Seriously, your Mackie Mixer will stand up to whatever punishment you give it without batting an eye.

Perfect for my "quiet" room!

This mixer is the final touch I needed for my "quiet" room! The room off of my main studio is a place for low volume, fun jams. The Mackie Pro FX10 will allow for a great balanced mix while still keeping the volume low. My hopes are that someday soon, when friends can come over again safely, we can have a low level fun jam that everyone can hear the full balanced mix at a level that really isn't amplified much, but just made full and enjoyable for all. Acoustic guitars, bass, electronic drums and a couple vocal mics! I can't wait to hear it live! Thanks Mackie, Sweetwater and Paul Rowan for making this room just what I wanted.

Solid litter mixer from Mackie

I purchased the Mackie ProFX10v3 from Sweetwater a few weeks ago. I like its versatility. At home, I use it for basic routing in my studio. I like that I can connect PA speakers to the main outputs and my studio monitors to control room outputs. However, the control room outputs are pre-fader, which gives zero control over channel levels. But if your source has an output level (keyboard, outputs of a USB interface, etc.) you can control the balance there.

I also use this for small live performances. It's easy to connect a few mics and a few stereo sources, plug into a powered PA speaker, and you're live. The effects aren't amazing, but they are definitely usable. While more effect parameters might give more control, it is actually rather nice to keep it simple for this. I wouldn't record using these effects (unless it was a live recording) but they are nice to have.

PROS:
* Compact size
* Solid construction
* Clear sound
* Locking power cord
* Effects are definitely usable for live performances
* Handy 1/8" stereo jack to connect a phone or tablet
* Mute buttons are very handy and hard to find in this price range.

CONS:
* Control Room and Headphone outputs are pre-fader, so you have no control over channel levels
* Power cord seems flimsy and is a long-term durability concern
* No RCA inputs for unbalanced stereo sources (phone, tablet, etc.)
* The 1/8" stereo input is on the same channel as the USB. So you can use one but not both.
* No bluetooth. Might be a nice feature in the future.

Mackie's the bomb!

If you need a great looking, super clean/quiet sounding 10 channel mixer with lots of features in a reasonably ~small package~ this little Mackie is the one to get.

Mackie ProFX10v3 10 Channel mixer

This Mackie replaced my old 16 channel Mackie. I'm going to talk with an old engineer friend of mine to learn how to setup a bus line for my MacMini outputs.

Did notice a low level of noise, however, it doesn't seem to be heard outside of my studio. Just bugs me....

Plus, no ability to rack mount this mixer in my setup.

Sleek little powerhouse

I bought this unit to serve as the audio heart of my home entertainment setup. I wanted enough analog inputs to connect FM tuner, CD player, turntable, TV audio, and USB to upgrade Spotifying from my laptop, plus 3-pin main outs so I can upgrade to mic cables for connecting my JBL 8-inch powered monitors. So far it's all working perfectly. I also considered the Yamaha MG10XU, since I have high regard for Yamaha, but the Mackie is a little more full featured, such as mute buttons for each channel, and I have a long and satisfying history with Mackie (this is now my 4th Mackie mixer). Thanks to Mackie tech support for explaining how to configure my MacBook for the USB, and thanks to Bob Mondok for his valuable advice and assistance.
Music background: I play alto sax in Moab's largest garage band, and 35 years of experience as a radio producer, musical recordist and producer, and general roadie stuff
